Who will be joining the team? They actually have done fairly well in the wrestling but those 18 FF points are a killer. It does look like Coach Wright has done a great job. Do you know what happened last match Cathell didn't compete

actually 149- cathell might be the only hole in the lineup. he tore a muscle in his leg during the 1st period against clarion. then he wanted too wrestle the match against buffalo against coaches orders and did futher damage. the 133 is eligble , and he is pretty good, 141 will be a transfer from down south(i think from one of the carolina schools but not sure). and the hwt failed off but a better kid from the football team came out and they say he is tough.

they will probably win a few matches. as far as matt goes, the coaches do not want him to wrestle any time soon. but i know him better than anyone and i believe he will wrestle against boston on the 26th. but time will tell.

I agree Matt is tough . i hope he doesn't let macho get in the way of what looks like a great college wrestling career. Sometimes taking one for the team means sitting out a few matches and aiming at the NCAAs. A high place such as round of 12 there would mean more to the teams recruitment than beating Roberts again. Roberts is obviously a fair country wrestler and attacking him on a bad leg may not be smart. Matt loves to throw legs!!

^^^eagle123, Would you please give me a clarification about Delaware State hwt situation. They had Zeb Davis and Ellis Hester competing at hwt first semester. Are either of those two wrestlers eligible to compete this current (spring) semester?
Also, I only had the chance to talk very briefly with Coach Wright prior to the AU/Del State match last month, and did not get the chance to ask him a number of questions. One question is, have Marc Saylor and Will Saylor stopped wrestling or is there the possibility they might compete for Del State sometime in the future?
If you answer my hwt and Saylors question, that will make my day! Thanks, -Stove Pipe

here you go stove, i'm hoping to make your day, first zeb davis was the heavy but he ran into academic problems and from what im told he is ineligible, but a new heavy from the football team is there and he is tough. i hear he is just as good or better than zeb and its not hester. will saylor tore his acl and is done for the year. he has been out since the 2nd week of practice. marc saylor will not compete for del state at all. got in to a lot of trouble w/ the cops (cant get into it cause its not my business). currently he is not enrolled in school. del state will be a completely different team come jan 26th against boston.

eagle-Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that, believe it or not, Delaware State's wrestling program is fully-funded, and able to offer the full 9.9 scholarships...is that true, or am I just imagining things?
