its supposed to be true. when coach wright came to del st they promised him 9.9 scollys (and it states this in his contract) but then they came back to him and told him he gets only 4.9 and that is why you hear ltwlooker always talking about the del st people all the time. a couple of their matches have been cancelled due to del st saying they do not have money to support their schedule. total crap....

^^^eagle123, You're well connected there in Delaware, could you please tell me where AJ Brooks currently is enrolled, after leaving Clarion this past summer. I assume that he does not plan to compete any more, but do hope he is in college some where. Thanks for any info, -Stove Pipe

Eagle: If I was Reggie Wright, regarding the 9.9 scholarships being stated explicitly in his contract and then being told he could only have 4.9, I'd go running back to Bloomington as soon as I could book a flight from Philadelphia to Indianapolis...

seton, me too. it is stated in his contract, but he does not want to start anything being his first year as head coach, and he is making double what earl walker was... salary wise

DESU offers a lot of diversity scholarships. If a qualified minority wishes to go there, they are very generous. It is a state school and follows guidelines strictly I have read that DESU has well over 85% of the students on schollies, aid or grants. If you know of a kid who has the grades and financial need this is a great school to apply. It is located in the St. capitol Dover which is located within a few hours of DC, Balt and Phil. In addition to very good fball and bball teams they have a terrific music program. Worth while look for kids who want a good education at a reasonable price.
