The Scuffle has announced their 28-team lineup. It takes place Dec 29-30 in Greensboro, NC. Should be a great tournament.
Appalachian State Binghamton Bloomsburg Boise State Boston University Cal State - Bakersfield The Citadel Cornell Davidson Duke Edinboro Gardner-Webb George Mason Hofstra Kent State Liberty Lock Haven Maryland Minnesota Navy North Carolina UNC Greensboro North Carolina State Ohio Old Dominion Virginia Virginia Tech VMI

Missouri has gone to the Scuffle since it started. Does anyone know where they are going that weekend? (Midlands?)

Only two top 10 teams and you call this a "Great" Scuffle? NOT even a good workout! I find it amazing how the east coast seems to think they are the "Kingdom of College Wrestling" with the rare occasion of PSU being top 5, the rest is just wishful thinking! Come talk to me AFTER you have earned your spot in the top 3 on a consistent basis, not just a "Oh yeah team so and so finished 3rd once upon a time. Bottom line........ this tournament blows!

I think Missouri was there 2 years ago. I remember seeing Askren lose back points and having the final forfeited to him. Quite sure that was two years ago.

Mizzou was there 2 in a row at least. I was told a certain Mizzou Redshirt will be at the Midlands this year. I thought last years Scuffle was really great. Many top teams AND individuals that were ranked with some top freshman scattered throughout. It was enjoyable.

Did I say it was the best in the country? Did I say it is better than Midlands or Las Vegas? The tournament has not been around for too long, but has quality teams and individuals.

Last year this tournament was better than Midlands hands down. Midlands has been in a tailspin for a while now. It was better than Vegas last year as well. This year it might not be as it doesn't seem to quite have the juice of last year. Nonetheless, this is a very difficult tournament and a high placer here is a national player without question. Teams like Cornell, Hofstra, Minnesota, and Endiboro are always in or near the top 10
