We are a few weeks deep into the Big 10 season and I was wondering what everyone is thinking about the dual season so far and the upcoming Big 10 tournament at Minneapolis. Who is this years biggest surprise as a team, as an individual, what is the toughest weight class other than 149? Who will be crowned a the Big 10 tournament and who is going to surprise people dow the road? Just a few questions to start what should be an interesting thread.

The Big Ten schools are throwing monkey wrenches into the rankings left and right. I would love to be sitting in on the seeding meeting for the Big Ten Championships. Your questions are hard to grab ahold of. I will say Iowa has to have an edge, based on the way they are wrestling.

I think Iowa has the toughest lineup in the country, but they also periodically searching for consistancy within that same lineup. If we have another tournament like Midlands at Big 10s or at Nationals it could be a great finish to the season

Yes I agree. This season seems to be like the college football season. I know other people have said this! But I have believed it a long time. It will be a great NCAA tournement. If you have tickets and are going, be happy, be very happy. Alot of fun, Heh!

After this weekend they may not be a huge suprise, but I think Wisconsin is very tough. They don't seem to get much pub. Kyle Ruschell and Dallas Herbst are two guys who have had big wins this year and could be Big10 finalists, but get overlooked.

I agree, as far as dual teams, I think Wisconsin is probably the second toughest in the Big 10, and I think that Michigan will probably do well tournament wise. Minnesota is not a surprise by any means but if they can get all their guys healthy, and get Kish back to last season's form, it could be a dogfight come big 10s

Its amazing all these really dont mean much because all these teams look like they can beat each other they are all pretty much equal Tournament wise it will be intresting to see If Minnesota can wrestle at there best theyll take it but its going to be a dog fight. A Big 10 team will also take the NCAA torphy home too its just a question of who? I was planning on attending Both the Big 10 and NCAA tournaments but thanks to this writers strike ill be lucky to have enough money to pay my satelite bill so i can watch it on tv!

If you think that is true, then you either don't pay attention or Don't look to deep into the real story that is happening in the big Ten this year. One team WILL win both the Big Tens and NCAA's this season! And that team will win them Both! Put your money on the Hawkeyes......... hands down!

Who is the most outstanding wrestler in the big 10 so far?
My vote goes to Brent Metcalf! this kid dominates everyone, and if I have to vote for someone else it would be Ness, that kid rides like a leach
