In the past few days a slew of highly ranked recruits have committed. Here they are....
D1CW's #3 overall Myles Martin has committed to Ohio State. Martin is a 2x National Prep Champ who rolled through Fargo this Summer winning Junior National Freestyle Title. He projects as a 184lber for the Buckeyes. Last year in the regular season Martin won the Beast of the East and was a Runner-Up at the Ironman.
The last of D1CW's Top 5 recruits committed with Pennsylvania State Champion Vincenzo Joseph's verbal to Penn State. Joseph was a Runner-Up in Junior National Freestyle this year. He is the third of the highly sought after Franklin Regional HS Senior's to commit.
Virginia Tech got a big verbal from New Jersey State Champion David McFadden. David is D1CW's #19 overall recruit. The future Hokie was also a Junior National Freestyle Runner-Up.
AC Headlee followed his fellow Waynesburg, Pennsylvania native Coleman Scott down to North Carolina. Headlee, D1CW's #26 recruit, is currently ranked #1 in the nation at 132 by FloWrestling. He placed third in Junior National Freestyle in Fargo and tends to compete and place at most national tournaments.
#30 overall Jan Johnson, another PA State Champ, will go the football route and play for Akron.
Lehigh got their first top 100 of the year in #43 Jordan Kutler of Blair Academy. Jordan's stock has risen significantly this offseason with his placement at Fargo and big wins at Junior National Duals.
