This year will be the first year that collegiate wrestling matches will take place in the State of Hawaii. On December 30th, 2014 American, Minnesota, Oregon State and Oklahoma will be participating in the "Hawaii Invitational" held at Monaulua High School in Honolulu. This is a great opportunity for the sport of wrestling to grow in an area where it is not all that popular. I'm sure American's David Terao is excited to be wrestling in his home state.
This event takes place during the same time that the Midlands and the Southern Scuffle do as well. I imagine that most of the coverage we get will be on the Midlands and the Southern Scuffle. I'm not sure who all will do the coverage on this event in Hawaii.
I imagine that all together this would be a rather expensive trip. I know that air fare alone is like $900, and that's flying coach! We certainly wouldn't want to send him first class!
Anyway, I think that it'd be cool if we could get a little fundraiser or something of the sort to send Earl over to Hawaii to do some coverage of this event.
Any ideas?

^^Could we package Earl up and send him cargo?

Earl deserves better than cargo!

^^Yes, Earl deserves the best. I was just thinking of how much I was willing to donate.

I just looked for him...it's about 1,200 dollars just in airfare! (for comparison, my trip to Milwaukee, Chattanooga, and Columbus for Midlands, the Scuffle, and the Iowa-Ohio State meet cost about 700 in airfare)

Hahaha...you guys are too funny!
It would have to be two tickets, my wife could deal with me going to wrestling related destinations like Chattanooga, Evanston, or Iowa City. However, if I were to go on my own to Hawaii....

Well at the rate we're at so far, with everyone's budget being similar to mine, I'd say by 2034, we'd be able to do it!
