The turkeys in admin have no space allocated for them. Last year they hosted the regionals and had to get a local HS Middletown DE to host the event. Regardless. This year the new coach has a complete team and several of the guys have considerable talent. Unfortunately the coaching change and confusion caused, two highlt regarded recruits Abbott and a young man from Conn. whose name escapes me at the moment moved on to other programs

Yes the CT kid is TJ Heburn who ended up at Colby CC. Also they lost VA's Eric Olanowski (younger bro of Mizzou's 125). Little O is the Sr. National Champ at 112 and has found his way to Michigan State. He really needs to put on some size though to compete at the D1 level.

I forgot Eric. He will grow and be successful in a conf. like East. B10 is another story imo. Wish him well. He wrestled my son on several occasions and we are friendly with him and family Hepburn another great kid. Earl Walker put together a great recruiting class. I hope Coach Wright does well. Folks I queried concerning him when he was beingf considered were very favorable. Since I know most of the team very well and Dover is near by, I will be able to watch some matches. That is if they find a place to have home matches.

^^^Delaware State head coach Reggie Wright recently provided WR.com with a 2008 lineup projection, as follows – 125 – Hopes to have Marc Saylor (2nd-year guy/Sussex Central/DE) suck down to 125. 133 – James Garrett (Soph/NJ) [Ben Canning (TRFR/Tabb/VA) will sit out. 141 – Shacoi Berry (Soph/NJ). 149 – Matt Cathell (TRFR/Caesar Rodney/DE) 3X Del state champ. 157 – Will Saylor (Jr/DE) solid veteran (former Bloomsburg wrestler). 165 – Brandon Gardner (Soph/Norfolk) and Joshua McGregor (Soph/DE). 174 – Kyle Skinner (Sr/DE) 2007 East Regional runnerup (former Shippensburg wrestler). 184 – Chris Woodall (Jr/DE) and Ellis Hester (I do not know who Hester is.). 197 – Bill Farrell (TRFR/PA) Farrell is from Pennsbury, qualified for the 2007 PIAA AAA’s, dnp, but completed 2007 at 49-3.
285 – Shawn Nowrey (Soph/Dover, DE) will move up from 197 to hwt. I think/hope Reggie Wright will build Delaware State into a good team in several years. -stovepipe

Keep your ear open for McGregor and Cathell coached by Dickie Howell I watched them as HS kids and they are wrestlers.from good program CR. Skinner from St. Marks coach by Bastianelli regime . Saylor's dad and uncle successful in D1. I think they AAd. Good coaching as kids. Coach Wright has makings of a very good team. People in the know claim he is talented. Good luck to him and the kids that they may rise above the turmoil of the schools policies and disregard and do well. One thing about wrestlers they know tenacity and focus will bring good results. McGregor, Saylor, Skinner and Woodall have these attributes. The other wrestlers probably also. i just don't know them.
