According to Bob Pruesse 2x 197lb AA JD Bergman of Ohio State will move up to heavyweight for the Buckeyes in the 2007-08 season. The heavyweight class is very thin and he would have to be considered a favorite for the national title, especially working out with fellow light heavyweight Tommy Rowlands.
The move up would most likely let talented freshman John Weakley slide into the starting lineup at 197. That would make 3 possibly 4 true freshman start for tOSU. Coach Ryan has publicly stated that he will start the best guy at each spot, regardless of age.

Even though 285 is not loaded I'm not going to call him a favorite yet. There are some pretty good wrestlers in that division that will have some say in that.
197 will now become a bit of a weak spot for them.
