My picks:
125 Ness wbd 3-0 133 Reiter wbd 6-0 141 Rivera wbd 9-0 149 Metcalf wbmd 9-4 157 CP wbd 12-4 165 Iowa wbd 12-7 174 Dretsch wbd 15-7 184 Kish wbd 18-7 197 Minn wbd 21-7 Hvy Fields wbd 21-10
I know it looks like a beatdown but I don't like the way Iowa matches up with Minn. If DS wrestles I think you have to count him as the favorite until Metcalf actually beats him as he has only lost 3 matches in his career and being in Minn. what are the odds the ref will all of a sudden find his whistle and start a new trend and give DS stalling warnings. Metcalf is tough but DS is too and may be the exact opposite version of Metcalf, strong as a horse, big gas tank and defensive master of his domain. I am sure there are other opinions as to how people think this will go and I welcome them here.

This is going to be a great dual Ness vs Falck will be a good one I dont think schlater will be wrestling his hamstring is pretty bad from what ive heard Kish will be back but lets see if he is 100% as A minnesota fan i hope they come out on top! Leclere is wrestling great this year but not good enough to beat Rivera

I think that 184 is a match that Keddy can win. He is one of the most improved wrestlers in the country. If Kish shows any signs of an injury, the match is Keddy's.
Falck/Ness should be great also. Falck is another guy who's improve a lot. I don't know if it's enough to get Ness though.
133 is a toss up too. I really would like to see Reiter win but I don't think it happens.
174 Dretsch is one of a few guys who has beaten Borschel. It was earlier in the season though and Borschel has been much better lately.

you're delusional if you think the score will be anywhere close to that yankeekev No way that minny takes 25,33, and 41. I think borschel wins too. It will be a tight dual that could come down to bonus points.
Metcalf is the favorite against schlatter no matter what you say, and he will beat DS.

Great dual. Iowa winning 41 and 74 isn't a huge shock, I just thought Minny would pull em out. If Metcalf loses to DS, will you admit you're delusional. Iowa won the dual with no DS and Kish described as "looks 50% at best". Now I am sure you will pound your chest and act as though nobody is even close to you in ability. We'll see come March.

Some thoughts: I can't believe how badly falck was drilled. Falck has never beaten Ness before, perhaps he has his number. If metcalf loses to DS I won't admit to being delusional, but i will say I had it completely wrong. I just feel that the way Metcalf is wrestling he is imposing his style on others and not letting anybodys style influence him. I know DS has a tank, but metcalfs is big too and he is always going forward. Just my opinion.
What did you mean by "Now I am sure you will pound your chest and act as though nobody is even close to you in ability"
I don't think my personal ability has much to do with this post.

vaisforlovers, i cant believe falck got beat that bad either. falck had previously beat ness in high school but as far as college goes ness does have his number. im pretty sure he beat ness for one of his state titles but ness has really turned the corner on him. as far as metcalf goes, im not getting into that one. ill root for metcalf but it will be close. if anyone is gonna beat metcalf at all it will be schlatter. but time will tell. go hawks...
