A lot of good info. The only teams going to duals though are MO and Hofstra and Boise won against them in your list. The point I was trying to make is that Rockies and W. Coast aren't represented. It is a big ten driven event and not national in scope
Also I am not enamored of giving last years placers a ride into the tournament. I think I read it was the top six. Although I must admit that most years top 6 would make it anyway. This Year they are: MN MO IA OSU ISU and Hofstra I think 7 and 8 were NWU and Cent. Mich.
I guess a better point would be to have the national duals be more representative . Maybe one team from each conference and then at large picks. My reasoning is that this paricipation would enhance fan interest imo. I think it is a limiting factor and self fulfilling prophesy to choose attendees for Nat Duals and NCAAs based on past performance. Wrestlers, for the most part, are pretty smart. Those with high aspirations realize that their opportunities to go to the big show are better in 10, 12, Eiwa. 12, with only 5 teams, sends the waterboys and young looking coaches to fill out their allotment.
Most would probably agree, after setting their partisanship aside, that parity and distribution has enhanced fan participation everywhere it has been tried. Why are we always late to the table.

You must be confused -------- This (the info I posted here) has absolutely NOTHING to do with the National Duals that will take place in MARCH..........this is about Boise State's dual match against Cal State Fullerton that takes place on Friday of this week.

I don't have any idea where you got it into your head that this was about the National Duals.
