Matt scored 53-1, a tech, 3 majors and a 51 sec. pin in finals and doesn't get OW. I'd like to hear the rationale on that. I know I'm a big Cathell booster but as they say in Brooklyn,"He was robbed" Keep your eye on Matt a fine wrestler and a real nice young man.

Is the Roberts who beat Schlatter the same guy Cathell beat? Guess Cathell should crack 15 sooner than I thought

JFS You got some kind of problem with me? What prompted that question? It is a matter of record concerning Roberts. This week Baxter ODU 18-9 and shortly Fried and Cathell have a match. That should give a better picture. This year Fried has only wrestled 4 matches according to his posted record. beat Mueller ISU 6-4 sv, Fuentes 4-2, Roberts13-3 and a FF. Cathell I think is 12-1 with an early season 7-6 win over Roberts, and a recent 7-1 over Borshoff. This is the only rating that has him in the picture. Let's see how it plays out against Fried. No disrespect to him but he's only wrestled 3 matches this year. I think regarding Cathell, a RS freshman is a story with his accomplishments this year.

I do not follow your records. In fact , I was embrassing what you stated. Now If you think there still is a problem than so be it.

^^^I've seen Cathell wrestle about 3 matches this season and two were filmed. He's very athletic and funky. Cathell, however, has problems with the PSAC wrestlers this season, having lost to Dennis Bermudez of Bloomsburg and Hadley Harrison of Clarion.
I'd be quite certain that Mr. Cathell will win the East Region and qualify for the 2008 NCAA Tournament. I want to see if he can win a bout or two at the Big Dance. The kid is FUN TO WATCH! -Stove Pipe

FYI, Cathell got stuck by Hadley Harrison of Clarion in their dual today...he beat Pat Lloyd of Buffalo 16-2 in his other match today, however.

^^^Pirate, Yes, Cathell was giving Hadley Harrison a good go, from what I understand from Clarion fans. Apparently the match was close going into the third period. Harrison on top to start the third, and turned Cathell for the fall 24 seconds into the third. Cathell is very good and Hadley Harrison is a total FULL gas tank. Both are good to watch. -Stove Pipe
