Guess there's not much in the way of news happening in Iowa City. Sounds like some fines to pay and not much else.

Sure, some 'fines to pay and not much else': For driving 'while suspended'? I think there's a bit more to this than that rather casual and uninsightful comment implies. Let's face it: 'Mark Perry, Jr., was arrested on Thursday for driving while suspended.' I mean, was he suspended from school, or suspended from the ceiling of his car? Context means everything. Perhaps he was in a state of suspended animation, and the writer of the article just didn't include this -- sort of to clarify just how the word 'suspended' should affect the reader's interpretation. Of course,' having fines to pay and not much else' is nearly as clear as the actual article....so let's face it, when it comes to Mark Perry, we know just about nothing if we try to comprehend what has been written about him so far, concerning this matter, and that naturally includes this...

Unless he is in trouble with the team, or the school, I would say do not let him drive your car. And he better pay his fines.
