Terrific stories about the bad old days. They add more fuel to the mat side before every match argument. It is indeed "the dark side of wrestling" I'm also inclined to believe Randy's argument for 7 weight classes prompting consideration of "enhancements" by some. On a similar theme I am beside myself with laughing at the great surprise expressed by all the commentators on the track star and Baseball pros using enhancements. They have the same ring to them as the folks in our sport trying to justify the current weigh-in policies. Personally I think it is up to the individual, after reaching the age of majority, what they want to do with THEIR bodies. It is the asinine hypocrisy that gets me down. Mat side before each match is the answer in my opinion or drop the BS entirely. I really have no preference In the money sports it's drugs and in wrestling it is weight cutting. Do any of you see a disconnect there, besides me?
