CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO - Chad Mendes (Sr) - Won 10-2 over CS Fullerton's Teddy Astorga in dual - Won 7-3 over Teddy Astorga of CS Fullerton at Fullerton Open tourn.

CAL STATE BAKERSFIELD - Elijah Nacita (RS Fr) - Lost 12-8 to CS Fullerton's Teddy Astorga at Fullerton Open tourn. - Won by FALL (3:39) over Stanford's Matt Kim at Fullerton Open tourn.

CAL STATE FULLERTON - Teddy Astorga (Jr) - Lost 10-2 to Cal Poly's Chad Mendes in dual - Lost 7-3 to Cal Poly's Chad Mendes at Fullerton Open tourn. - Won 11-2 over Stanford's Cameron Teitelman at Fullerton Open tourn. - Won 12-8 over CS Bakersfield's Elijah Nacita at Fullerton Open tourn.

OREGON STATE - Heinrich Barnes (Jr) - Lost by FALL to Boise State's Levi Jones (3:14) at Vegas - Won 9-3 over Boise State's Levi Jones in finals of Best of the West tourn.

STANFORD - Matt Kim (So) OR Cameron Teitelman (So) - Teitelman lost 11-2 to CS Fullerton's Teddy Astorga at Fullerton Open tourn. - Kim lost by FALL (3:39) to CS Bakersfield's Elijah Nacita at Fullerton Open tourn.

UC DAVIS - Nexi Delgado (Jr) - Lost 9-4 to Arizona State's Chris Drouin in dual.

Seven of the ten PAC 10 wrestlers at 141 lbs competed at the Vegas tournament last weekend. Here is how those seven did:

1. Levi Jones - Boise State - Placed 8th at 141 lbs. Jones went 4-3 at Vegas.

2. Heinrich Barnes - Oregon State - Made it to the 5th Round of the Consolation Bracket (Lost by FALL to Levi Jones of Boise State). Barnes went 3-2 at Vegas.

3. Elijah Nacita - Cal State Bakersfield - Made it to the 4th Round of the Consolation Bracket - Nacita went 3-2 at Vegas.

4. Nexi Delgado - UC Davis - Made it to the 3rd Round of the Consolation Bracket - Delgado went 2-2 at Vegas.

5. Teddy Astorga - CS Fullerton - Made it to the 2nd Round of the Consolation Bracket - Astorga went 2-2 at Vegas.

6. Chris Drouin - Arizona State - Made it to the 1st Round of the Consolation Bracket. Drouin went 1-2 at Vegas.

7. Matt Kim - Stanford - Made it to the 1st Round of the Consolation Bracket. Kim went 0-2 at Vegas.

I'm not sure what you meant by that.......but if you are trying to say you think Mendes is the best in the PAC this season at 141 lbs...you might be right. However, you may not be either. I'd put him # 1 right now simply based on the fact that he placed 6th at the NCAA tournament two year ago......but you have to keep in mind that he did that at 125 lbs.......and we're talking 141 lbs here.
