Dec 2nd we wrestle OU and dec 9th PSU. OU is always a great dual even though I predict they only win at 149 and 197 and 197 is no guarantee. PSU is probably the favorite on paper but I predict they only win 125, 149, and 197. I just have a good feeling about the match since it is in Stillwater. I have seen so many upsets in Stillwater, I can't even name all of them. I can't wait, because I can only rememer 3 losses at GIA when I was there and no disrespect to PSU but Stillwater is a tough place to visit. Anybody with a prediction or comment is welcome to chime in, even if it is about their team. I just love talking wrestling. Go Pokes.

yankeekev - I agree, the start of every dual meet season fills us with anticipation for all of the great wrestling we'll see. Can you possibly get to Iowa for either the Hawkeye/Cowboy dual or for national duals?
Honestly - some of my favorite dual meet moments are Iowa vs OSU (Travis Fiser over Randy Couture to win the dual is tops for me).

I have a ton of favorite dual meet moments. Mine is a skinny little sophomore beating a monster number 1 ranked wrestler. The match was John Smith against Jim Jordan. Jordan went on to win championship that year but the skill of wrestling I witnessed in that match still may not have been duplicated yet to this day in front of my eyes. My brother's is when Chris Barnes went up a weight and we sent a scrub out against Royce Alger (talk about a beast). The scrub managed to only give up a major and then Chris pulled off the upset and we won the dual. That was the turning point for Chris Barnes and OSU wrestling taking down the mighty Iowa dynasty.

The plan is to go to Nationals. If I can make it, I will definitely post, as it would be cool to meet some of the people that post and put a face with the name.
