The NCAA has released the 2008 NCAA championship Allocations, here they are:
Big Ten: 72
EIWA: 47
Pac-10: 38 (-1 from last year)
Big 12: 38
EWL: 32
CAA: 24 (+1)
West: 20 (-1)
MAC: 19
SoCon: 15 (+1)
ACC: 14
East: 11

setonhallpirate...... I just make this stuff up!!!!!!!!! If you don't appreciate my info simply don't read it! Or you can find it yourself, but I am very sure your either too lazy or don't know how! Either way I don't care. My purpose is to inform fellow wrestling fans NOT to create a THEIS for you to admire.

PS: Sorry Earl for the rant, but I work hard to find new reliable info and post it here for you. And it sticks in my crawl that some self appointed critics have nothing better to do with their time then to be trolls!

Thank you Willyman for the effort. Since this isn't an official document, a textbook or a college course, footnotes and quotation marks are unnecessary, at least for me. The last original thought was probably by someone named Uuuurg anyhow

I think they just need to make sure there are at least 64 in every bracket. More is even better IMHO but a minimum of 64 instead of 1st round byes. Invite until you fill the bracket. Part of the challenge of winning an NCAA crown is making weight 3 days in a row while wrestling the best, not while getting byes. We saw the effects of the 3rd day on the kid from Missou (name escaping me...Scott was his 1st name) that beat Rosholt 12-1 at big 12 and then got manhandled in the finals.
