Rutgers has received a verbal from the New Jersey State Champ Trevor Melde. Melde was the highest rated recruit (by Intermat) who had not made a college choice. Coach Goodale's recruiting class gets better by the day. Imagine what they could do if his program was fully funded. I believe they only have around 5 scholarships available to the program.
In other recruiting news, another top 30 wrestler Washington's Erich Schmidke rated by some publications as the #1 ranked senior at 189 committed to Oklahoma.
Buffalo added to an already solid class with NHSCA placer Mark Lewandowski.
Iowa State got a top 100 recruit from Utah in Matt Brown.
Missouri got a verbal from another McCormick brother Nathan, a Kansas State Champ.
Cal-Poly picked up California placewinner Geoff Doss.
