A host of recruits committed today, the highest profile being 2x NJ State Champ Joe Trause to Virginia. Coach Garland's Cav's also picked up NJ placewinner Derek Valenti.

Garland is doing a really nice job recruiting over there at UVA. He had a reputation at Cornell as being a real hustler on the recruiting trail and it is definitely carrying over to UVA. I see them being a top 20 type program in the not-so distant future. I also like how VA tech is doing with their recruiting. They are going to be a forece too.

Also, Maryland with a real nice pickup in Peletier. you are right Earl, another Blair kid for UMD. They have gotten quit a few nice recruits from there over the years. I saw on Intermat that Valles has UMD as a leader as well so who knows if he'll be another one.

I think Jason Bryant has real good HS rankings, however, I am confused why Peletier isn't in the top 100. Winner of the Beast, Cadet national runner up, some good wins in his career. Would you say he is under ranked?

I agree about Coach Garland and UVA. I had the pleasure of seeing them a few weeks ago and the incoming freshman looked reaally good. Chris Henrich stood out the most to me. He may not have gotten a whole lot of attention because he was a 5th year senior at Germantown Academy but he will be tough. Michael Chaires, Matt Bonson and Nick Nelson were very impressive too.

As for Peltier, I was sort of shocked by that as well. I am sure his stock will rise by the time this season's over. Maybe JB can give insight.

it appears that alex meade has committed to Ok State! Looks a lot like Johnny on the video I watched. Would be happy if he was 1/2 that good.
