Missouri Scrimmage

Last Saturday the Tigers held a scrimamage. Most of the weights were broken up into 4-man pools, with the winners advancing to wrestle each other.

Most notable result was the 141LB matches. True freshman Brandon Weist beat Willie Saxton and then Max Shanaman. I think that most people (myself included) assumed it would be a two-man race between Saxton and Shanaman for the starting spot, but apparently not. Something to keep an eye on...

Also, the plan for last years starter Ashtin Primus is to redshirt this season and hopefully fill in for Josh Wagner at 149.
