Just curious assuming Suriano is not done for the season - if he is "partially" ready to go for the Big Ten's can he enter the tourney then default out so as not to aggravate the injury and then get a Wild Card. Or, does he actually have to WRESTLE?  |

I believe he has to weigh in and step on the mat, but can injury default after the whistle blows. I believe this is a new rule this year, to be considered for a wild card you have to weigh in and step on the mat.
