Tonight Eric Grajales, the #2 overall recruit by Intermat has committed to wrestle for the Michigan Wolverines. Grajales is a 3x Florida State Champ for Brandon High School and projects as a 133/141lber for Coach Joe McFarland's Wolverines.

This is the basis of the rumor about Russell going to ISU. I wish people would quit seeing things that are not there. Russell is a very tough wrestler. Why should he worry about a high school kid? I know this is off a forum, but please take a breath. We will have a great season of wrestling this year and let the best man standing win! ( I think alot of wrestlers who are talented are picking other schools to attend.) Which is good for wrestling. More committments early than I have seen in my life. Let the season begin.

Just so everyone is clear Michigan assistant Mike Kulczycki went on the MLive website, where the Russell to ISU rumor started, and stated that Russell is still a student at Michigan and practiced with the team the day before and has no plans of leaving.
