I'll be a homer and go with Mike Miller at 197 for Rider. NCAA qualifier at 165 two years ago is bulked up and a strong 197 now.

^^^Concord87, I was told this fall that Rider expects Mike Miller to get medical clearance to compete this season, but I've never heard for sure that Miller has been cleared. Are you sure he has in fact been medically cleared to wrestle? Thanks, -Stove Pipe

Matt Kyler should have been seeded and was really no surprise. He is a stud and has been atop the podium at every level since he was a pee wee. Had he gone to IOWA he would be known as the second coming of Mr. Metcalf. Having the success he has had while enduring the hardships at West Point is a great accomplishment. They don't offer such courses as: BS, the study of fertilizer or Techniques for corn shucking in the curiculum and going out for a couple cool ones means marching the yard from Nov. -April.

It's hard to categorize what exactly a darkhorse is anymore.
In my opinion a darkhorse is a guy that pretty much you and only you think he'll pull through and make All American this season.
In that case, Matt Fittery Junior Lock Haven at 157 has to be my #1 pick. Others on the list are Kurt Swartz Sophomore Boise State at 165, David Marble Junior Bucknell at 133, Tyler French Junior Air Force at 174 and Trevor Perry Junior Indiana.
There are other guys that haven't made All American yet, but I wouldn't consider them true Darkhorses, because of the multitude of times that they have proven their potential throughout there careers.
Examples would be Zach Bailey Sophomore Oklahoma, T.J. Dillashaw Senior Cal State Fullerton, Michael Letts Junior Maryland, Matt Dragon Junior Penn, Jonny Bonilla Bowman Junior Hofstra and Chris Honeycutt Junior Edinboro.

^^^JT, It's always a pleasure. Thanks for posting! Just two comments here - Matt Fittery is LHU's 149 pounder (I assume Luke Lanno will by the Bald Eagles' starting 157 pounder); and it sure looks like the Univ of Maryland is holding Mike Letts out this season, as Letts requested that he be allowed to redshirt this year. -Stove Pipe
