Earl, what do you hear about Andrew Bradley at Maryland? I thought that he was penciled in to start over Letters last year before being injured and I thought he would be back this year. have you heard anything?

^^^Brian Letters came to UMD with the technical skills of a Div I college senior. Letters' positioning and skill level are incredible. I would assume Delaware fans figgured Bradley would start at 157 over Letters and western PA folks penciled Letters in to start at 157. This is an interesting subject and I hope this Bradley/Letters discussion continues. Good Forum Topic, -Stove Pipe

I knew Letters was tough, but I recall seeing that MD had Bradley listed as the starter prior to surgery. Letters went on to have a great year. As a Delaware guy of course I'd love to see Andrew in that lineup, so was curious what the word was on him.

I think that you may see him get time this year at 165. You are correct, he looked like he would be penciled in last year at 157 before the injury.

^^^Not trying to turn this into a Brian Letters' string, but today someone very close to Letters told me that he's grown bigger and stronger during the off-season, but probably still can cert this fall down at 157. So - Rocket Science 101 - it sounds to me like Letters will either be at 157, 165, or redshirt. I'd assume that, if Letters goes 165 or redshirts, that Bradley will start at 157. No strong opinion on this, and we shall find out soon! -Stove Pipe
P.S. I'm modifying this to note that, if Letters starts at 157 and Bradley goes 165, it probably would be interesting to see who wins out between Bradley and Mike McGill and maybe incoming frosh Cory Peltier certs down at 165. UMD has a lot of depth at a number of weights.

If Andrew is 100% he will earn a spot. Although I think Pellier is a talented kid he isn't D1 ready for this season imo. I also tihnk that It is a toss up between Andrew at 100% and Troy. Notwithstanding Troys fine season. The big issue is does Andrew come back 100%. If he is the same guy I've known for since CYO wrestling days, you can bet hew won't be outworked. Smart, skilled and hard nosed guy. I hope you read here Andrew and I want to wish you well everywhere but Lehigh.

^^^LtWtLooker, I see a Lehigh v Maryland discussion has broken out on the WR.com Lehigh Forum. I had to jump in and, among other things, note the possibility of Andrew Bradley. -Stove Pipe
P.S. UMD's BRIAN Letters and Troy are cousints, as you know.
