^^^The Naval Academy has a very solid, deep, highly conditioned and very well coached wrestling team, under head coach Bruce Burnett, assisted by Brian Antonelli and Scott Owen. This past season Navy wrestled quite well into March, then grabbed a solid fourth place at the EIWA’s and put the icing on the cake at the 2008 NCAA Tournament, by gaining three All-Americans (Joe Baker returns) and a top 20 (18th-place) finish.
Here are my Navy guesses for 2009, and I ain’t listed their whole roster. (I included some wrestlers who I understand are enrolling this summer at NAPS, but likely will be valuable additions to the Naval Academy team in the future.) Weight-by-weight –
