I've added a new piece to my sites rankings, Power Rankings. They are for all weights a "best of the best" type scale. They will be updated weekly along with my rankings. Since most of these guys won't meet it is subjective, but I think its fun. Also, I know Metcalf is not on there, I will wait until he actually wrestles for Iowa before including him. www.d1collegewrestling.net/Rankings_Power.htmlTeam rankings have been updated, I haven't changed them since I started the website a few weeks ago. There have been quite a few transfers, and lineup changes made that affect the teams rankings. I will continue to update the individual's rankings as needed until the season starts and then it will be weekly. One note, there are quite a few instances where team (A) is ranked above team (B) in their conference but below them in NCAA rankings. It isn't a mistake, they just happen that way sometimes.

How about some criteria. Tough to discuss a ranking of the best guys. Although I like Schlatter, i think Donahoe, T=nic and "Clubber" Lang have better chances of winning NCAAs.
It should be obvious to most that to prevail in conferences you need to win head to heads. Also in conf. whole team competes At NCAAs the team who brings most guys has a better chance especially due to separation issues.
I am curious how NCAAs are separated, how many seeds? Where from? etc.

As far as criteria first and foremost is last year's NCAA placement. Then records, number of non-decision victories. Once the season begins, I think it will be easier to determine.
For the NCAA's they seed 12 guys. What do you mean by separated?

As far as seeds go, it doesn't matter. The Big 10 can have 1, 4, 5 and 12 seeds. However, last year in the seeding, there was a change made, which prevented any conference opponents from meeting in the pigtails or first round. So you couldn't hypothetically have a 1 seed from Minnesota meeting an unseeded guy from Michigan who was ranked #13 in the first round, but I suppose he could draw a #14 guy from Oklahoma.
For the most part, looking at last years brackets there were very few inter-conference opponents meeting before the quarters. It did happen but not very often.
