Willy, I love your passion. I made this post without my orange glasses on. If I put em on then Iowa only wins at 25, 49, 65 (assuming Shinn doesn't make weight). That would make your voiciforous crowd so loud you could hear crickets. I'm sure you'll be treated to a great dual, I wish I could be there. Take good notes and give us an accurate blow by blow.

Yankeekev - I've come to know willy over the last year or so on a variety of forums - and if there were a Hall of Fame for passionate Hawkeye wrestling fans, he would be inducted.
He's definitely right about one thing - there is nothing in American wrestling that parallels the crowd in Carver Hawkeye Arena for one of the "rivalry duals" (ISU, OSU and Minnesota). You MUST see it to believe it. Every college athletic director, coach and fan should attend at least once so they can see what college wrestling can be - and then aspire to that greatness.
Excuse me while I step down off my soapbox.
PS Pray that willy and I don't start a Cedar Rapids Jefferson vs Davenport Central thread.

Wow! OSU winning isn't too shocking but , I just didn't factor in Perry losing. That will make the team race reeeal interesting.
