It has been a busy week or so for recruiting. Here are some of the biggest names who have given verbal commitments lately:
#10 Michael Kemerer, a 3x Pennsylvania State Runner-Up, will wrestle for Iowa. Kemerer's verbal means that only one top 10 recruit (Matt Kolodzik) is available. He projects as a 149/157er. Over the past season Kemerer has been a Runner-Up at the Ironman and Super 32, and while finishing 5th at Junior National Freestyle.
Another Pennsylvania commitment comes from State Runner-Up Kellan Stout who will stay in-state to wrestle for Penn State. He looks to be a 184lber for the Nittany Lions and is D1CW's #34 recruit.
Indiana is quietly putting together a very good class and added to it with their 3rd top 100 recruit in Illinois' Elijah Oliver, D1CW's #54 overall. Over the summer Oliver moved to Illinois, but he has won Tennessee State Titles in each of his 3 previous seasons.
#63 Myles Amine will also stay in-state and wrestle for Michigan. Amine was a Michigan State Champ for Detroit Central Catholic and a Junior Freestyle All-American this summer in Fargo. He will join his brother Malik and cousin Jordan, a Freshman and Reshirt Freshman respectively, on the Wolverine team. 3x Nebraska State Champ Doyle Trout has given a verbal to Wyoming. Trout's stock rose this offseason with a 5th place finish in Junior Freestyle at Fargo. He is D1CW's #67 overall recruit.
