Another transfer to Boise State is Old Dominion University's Jake Velarde. In fact Velarde (a RS FR this season) is projected to be Boise State's starter this season at 141 lbs (with the previous 141 lbs starter, Travis Himmelman, moving up to 149 lbs).
Also I believe Geordan Martinez will be competing at 149 lbs - not 141 lbs. As far as I know the only time he competed last season, for the Air Force Preparatory Academy, at the Cowboy Open tournament at the Univ. of Wyoming he took 1st place at 149 lbs in the Amateur Division of that tournament (went 5-0).

AZeerip joins his brother, Brandon Zeerip, on the Eastern Michigan wrestling squad after wrestling for three seasons at the University of Michigan. The Fremont, Mich. native was redshirted in his freshman campaign at U-M before posting a 38-40 overall record in his three seasons on the squad. Zeerip was a three-time Michigan state champion, taking the title at 103 lbs. (2008), 119 lbs. (2009), and 135 lbs. (2010), while boasting a 238-13 career record at Hesperia High School. The Fremont, Mich. native ranks in the top-five in all-time wins in the state of Michigan and was a finalist for Michigan's Mr. Wrestler award in 2010. Zeerip will look to make a start at the 165/174 lb. weight class in his final year of eligibility.

^^Good info/post hadd. UTC has NCAA qualifiers Corey Mock at 165 and Levi Clemmons at 174 this coming season. Thus, I would GUESS that Newbery would help out 2015 at 174. (Hoping UTC updates its roster this month on its Wrestling Site.)
