^^^I agree with Earl's comments. When I saw Anthony Tortora compete for Hofstra in Jan of 2008 he was not a big 157 pounder. Further, in April 2008 Anthony Tortora competed at 145 pounds in the University National freestyle event! I assume he's bumping up (assume he's hitting the weights hard) in an attempt to start. tortora was cutting hard to make 57 last year wrestle 65 alot of the time im told hes about 186 or so as of now

^^^LIPINNER, Thanks for the post/info. If Hofstra didn't have a 165 pounder for this season, I would bet Tortora would be starting at 165 this fall. -Stove Pipe

^^^EARL, Good info and I am pleased you give Wagner good coverage. I think Doug Jesse is doing a good coaching job there and is building that program.
By the way - you VT fans out there - I was told that the VT plan is to RS 184-pounder Tommy Spellman this season. -Stove Pipe
